Midskinrick Lodge

Midskinrick Lodge is a great place for a large family, reunion , fishing group or special event – the Lodge can accommodate up to 13 people. The Lodge is located on our 40 acre property, which includes camping sites, and is separated from the owners residence by a huge breezeway to afford your privacy.

Fully self-contained with 3 bedrooms (2 with queen size beds and one with bunk beds), a double sofa bed in the media room and a queen, bunks and a single bed in the second lounge. Porta cot available for those too small for a bed.

A large kitchen, dining and lounge area, a huge media room, two bathrooms, a laundry and plenty of fridge/freezer space makes this fully air-conditioned unit a wonderful place to relax and refresh.

The covered outdoor entertaining area has a firepit and barbeque and the fenced yard is child and pet friendly.

The Lodge overlooks our large spring-fed dam which is a great spot for swimming, kayaking, standup paddleboarding and sunbathing. Easy access via the sandy entry and the jetty. The dam is home to fresh water turtles who are always keen for a feed!

The Lodge is approx 500m from the boat ramp, so launching the boat to get those early morning catches is a breeze!

Sad to say, but time to leave this little piece of paradise. Had the best time. So peaceful and tranquil, did some crabbing and fishing, and just listened to the birds, ducks and nature. Will definitely be back.
We were pleasantly surprised by this property after reading the reviews we nearly didn't pick this place, but price wise we went and I have to say it's just lovely, thick green grass under foot, welcomed with a happy smile from the owner, boat ramp right on the property, clean toilets, showers and camp kitchens, lots of places to camp and heaps of room to spread out, very quite, lots of birds and kangaroos, loved our stay,
